SOUL OF THE CITY: HUB CITY MASS
This documentary was produced by Mariposa Pictures for the 2022 event series, Soul of the City. The film tells the story of a choir coming together to promote unity and honor the legacy of Gospel music in Jackson and West Tennessee. This film was possible thanks to Tennessee Arts Commission, Jackson Equity Project, and Jackson Hidden Tracks.

When COVID-19 changed our plans for 2020, we reached out to Mariposa Pictures, who created a film version of Porchfest that we could show in a drive-in movie setting to accommodate social distancing. The result was a film that embodied every bit of the magic of Porchfest from the safety of our own cars. This project was sponsored by Personnel Placements, Inc.
